Alpine Strawberry (Fragaria Vespa) An easy-to-grow variety with delicious red strawberries. They will grow twice the size of wild berries and typically bear fruit in the second year but may produce fruit the first fall. They are beautiful compact plants, when not bearing fruit, and perfect to grow in the leak-proof pail.
An excellent size for a sunny windowsill (5.2" high x 6" diam.)
