Our kitchen brush has a beechwood handle with sisal fiber (agave plant) bristles. Minimally fastened together with a metal wire & metal loop to hang to dry.

Hang to dry in between uses, on a dry towel or elevated to allow bristles to drain. Heads last about 6 months, and handles last a couple of years.
