OMG. New Origin Shop's First Physical Location is Now Open!

Pinch me. I still can't believe it. I've wanted to own my own boutique ever since I was a kid and today I can say that I've achieved that dream! New Origin Shop's (first) physical location is now open at the Hill Country Galleria Mall just outside of Austin, TX.

It's been a long 58 days to build out the store (yes, I counted). But every second was worth it because I absolutely love how everything turned out. But I didn't do this alone. Let me introduce you to the New Origin Shop team (and my family).

From left to right, we have Me, Sean, Frederic, Maurice, and Chancellor (aka Chance the puppy). This team has been working tirelessly over the past two months—while juggling their day jobs and other responsibilities. Without them, the store would have been just me and a couple of tables (and perhaps a coat of paint). They brought so much creativity, passion, and ideas into the vision for the store.

And what a vision it turned out to be. Seriously, there are so many "moments" in the store that I just adore. From our dried flower bouquet wall, to our "It's a vibe" neon sign, and our super-cute message board—I can't help but feel joy when I walk through the space. 

The team doesn't end there, though. I have to give a special shout out to the 87 donors who donated to our GoFundMe and helped us raised over $5,000 (as of writing this). These kind souls blew us away—smashing our original goal of $3,500. Every cent was put to good use and we're beyond grateful for the kindness of our community.  

Speaking of community, we're so excited to be a part of the Hill Country Galleria Mall and meeting our new neighbors. We've had a few locals come in already and we hope to meet so many more! For everyone who's not in the Austin area—don't fret—our products are still available online. But for all of you locals out there, stop by the shop to say hi. We'd love to see you soon and show you around the store! 

I could seriously talk about the shop all day, but there's still so much to do—so I'll have to leave it here for now! But that just means that I have more updates in store for y'all. Follow along @neworiginshop Stay tuned!
