I started New Origin Shop in 2017 as a crochet and fiber wares maker. From my time doing pop-up markets around the Austin area, I became a part of a community of fabulous makers.  

This sparked a revelation within me. People still valued handcrafted, artisanal, one-of-a-kind wares. They're eager to support brands with a story. And they can feel that the product is made with love—and it's from a real person that appreciates every sale.

That's why I curate our inventory from Black-owned, Woman-owned, local, national, and international makers. I work hard to ensure that your purchase is fair-trade, sustainable, and supports a small business owner.
