It's not every day that a small business gets a moment in the spotlight. That's why our recent feature on NBC 5 Texas Today's segment stands not just as a proud milestone for us but as a testament to the support of local entrepreneurship that beats at the heart of our community.

It felt surreal when NBC 5 Texas Today approached us for a segment. Producer Everador Heurta told me he found New Origin Shop while going down a rabbit hole of Texas small businesses. I'm so proud that the work we've been doing is getting recognized and shared around so that more people can discover the value of shopping small.

The days leading up to the filming were filled with nervous anticipation and meticulous preparation. The interview was a whirlwind (but your girl got through it in one take!). It wasn't just about showcasing our products or services; it was an open invitation to the community to take a closer look at the local, quality-driven alternatives offered by small businesses like ours.
