This is inspired by the emotional year the world has gone through. The year 2020 has allowed myself as a designer to stop, dig uncomfortably inward (which is never ending), and be more intentional with our actions and creations. This ancient spiral symbol has many meanings as it has been one of the oldest shapes found in various part of the world. For me, it represents the winding journey we must take inward if we're to truly know & love ourselves. From these never-ending journeys we return with infinitely more power and wisdom. It is a powerful symbol of creation and growth. These are handcrafted the aquamarine will vary slightly in appearance due to it's unique nature.

- * The Aquamarine was collected in 2017. I was gravitated towards the barrel shape and grabbed a few strings. My mom’s eyes lit up when she saw it in my hands and so I grabbed a few more. The imperfect baby blues in this piece is just so lovely.
Marida Adan is a Jewelry Maker in Long Beach, CA. With a Graduate Gemology degree from the Gemological Institute of America, she ventured to create jewelry that were inspired by nature, minimalistic art, and her parents who were fine jewelry artists themselves.
