New Origin Shop was featured by Apartment Therapy!

This is going to be a short post this time, but we wanted to give a quick update that was really exciting for us. We were recently featured by Apartment Therapy! It has been a rough few days here in Texas due to the unprecedented winter storm, so this was definitely a highlight for us last week.

Apartment Therapy has been doing a series that highlights Black business owners and reached out to New Origin Shop in order to do an Instagram takeover of their account. We’re really humbled that they even considered us in the first place. We made a couple of videos that explain who we are, what a typical day looks like at New Origin Shop, the home studio/office, and we even threw in some home decor tips!

As we mentioned in our last post, we’re fans of celebrating Black-owned businesses all year round—but February is a special time where more people pay attention. Because of this, we’re hoping that this will get us noticed by even more people out there (both customers and creatives alike).
